Spawn, 2007
An occurrence of spawning, a function used in virtual worlds (computer-based or otherwise) to conjure an object, is performed, by hand-placing (odd-) colored objects in seemingly random locations. The consumer goods commonly present in everyday life are re-colored as a way of separating them from accidentally misplaced or lost personal items and to suggest the presence of phenomena, a something or someone previously unknown.
