Passage No. 2 (Towards the Ocean, for as Long as It Lasts), 2009

A graphite line drawn towards the nearest seashore; through the checkered corridors of Malmö Art Academy, down flights of marble stairs, passing a rusty steel threshold, crossing an asphalt yard, following a paved sidewalk, crossing several white stripes of a zebra crossing and the asphalt underneath, running over and in between cobblestones, underneath a pool of water, crossing a street. Continuing until only a small triangular fragment of graphite remains (wiping graphite covered fingers on a small light blue handkerchief).
